Choosing your sync date range
Set how far back call history uploads during first-launch setup on a device.
When you see this screen
The first time a rep opens LeadCall on a new device, a setup wizard asks how far back to sync call history before uploads begin. This choice controls which past calls the phone sends to your dashboard — not just on that first sync, but for all future syncing while the setting remains in place.
Preset options
Pick the option that matches how much history you want. Uploading very old calls can slow initial setup, so choose the smallest window that covers your needs.
| Option | What it uploads |
|---|---|
| Last 24 hours | Calls from today and yesterday |
| Last 7 days | One week of call history |
| Last 30 days | One month of call history |
| Custom range | A specific start and end date you choose |
Using the custom range
- Select Custom range from the preset list.
- A full-screen calendar opens inside the app.
- Tap your start date, then tap your end date. The selected period is highlighted.
- Press OK at the bottom of the screen to confirm.
Only calls that fall within your chosen window are uploaded. Calls outside that range stay on the phone and are not sent to LeadCall.
Works in the background too
The date range applies consistently whether the app is open on screen or syncing quietly in the background. You will not see calls outside your selected window appear in the dashboard later because a background sync picked them up.
Starting fresh?
If this is a dedicated work phone with little relevant history, Last 24 hours is usually enough. Choose a longer window only when you need to backfill recent campaign calls that happened before LeadCall was installed.
