What the LeadCall app does on your phone, what it syncs, and how to use it day to day.

What the app does

The LeadCall app runs quietly in the background on your Android work phone. You do not need to open it during the workday — it monitors incoming and missed calls automatically and sends the call metadata to your team's dashboard. Think of it as an always-on call logger that feeds your CRM so you don't have to.

What syncs

The caller's phone number
Whether the call was answered, missed, or a sales-rep callback attempt
The date and time of the call (stored in UTC)
The call duration in seconds
The contact name as saved in your phone's contact list (if the number is saved)

What never syncs

Call audio — LeadCall does not request microphone access and never records calls
SMS messages of any kind
Personal outbound calls unrelated to Lead recovery
Your contacts list (names are read locally for display only, not uploaded)
App data, photos, files, or location

Outbound capture is role-based

Campaign phones focus on incoming and missed ad calls. Sales-rep phones can capture outbound callback attempts so the business can measure missed-call recovery without treating every personal dial as a new campaign Lead.

Privacy controls

Private-number controls are on the roadmap. For now, LeadCall should be deployed on dedicated work devices, business SIMs, or clearly approved sales-rep phones so personal calls stay outside the business workflow.

You can also use the Business Sync toggle in the app to pause all syncing temporarily. When the toggle is off, no calls are sent to the dashboard until you turn it back on.

Callback workflow

When you miss an inbound call, LeadCall automatically creates a follow-up Task in Zoho CRM assigned to your Zoho user. To see your pending callbacks:

Open Zoho CRM and go to Activities → Tasks.
Filter by Status: Not Started and Owner: yourself.
Each missed-call Task shows the caller's number in the Subject line.
Call the number back, then mark the Task as Completed.
